I figured I would get the day started on the right foot this morning so I started it out by getting the dishes put away. The kids weren't fighting so I figured all was well. After I finished I went into the living room to see what was going on. What I saw was Claira and Bethany in the front room, Bethany looking on and Claira with a bottle of lens cleaner in her hands. No I screamed, but she must have already taken a swallow because as I was running to them she spit out all the liquid in her mouth. I called poison control and they were very helpful. Claira is fine thank goodness.
So its been kind of an eventful day. I love my little girls even if they are little stress creating machines. Claira is now a toddler, walking all over the house. Bethany never ceases to amaze me. She loves to learn. Her favorite game is for me to get our little white board and write sentences for her to read. She loves it. Of course I have to illustrate every sentence after shes done reading it. Someday she'll figure out thats what books are. Right now books are what people read to her not the other way around. They are both so fun I love them to death. I especially love that they are at that age where they can finally play with eachother though I guess thats what caused the problem this morning. Well thats all for now

Very cute Kelly. There will be many more days like this to come but that's what keeps life interesting. No one ever said motherhood was going to be easy and NO one can tell you how deep the love is that you feel. Just think God loves us even more than that!! Mom
ReplyDeleteOh we've had to do the poison control thing as well. For Anika it was nail-polish remover. Kind of ironic since I never even paint my nails! What an adventure these girls are. Gotta love them!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy you have started a blog! It's going to be fun seeing your sweet girls grow up and hearing your fun parenting stories! :)

Where'd you go??? I finally get a chance to look at your blog, and nothing new!!! (Maybe you are taking your cue from me?)
ReplyDeleteLens cleaner isn't as bad as dishwashing detergent...just ask Mom, they told her that Jordyn might "suds" for a while, but she'd be okay.
PS. check out my "new" blog...
