Christmas was so fun. We spent the holidays in Pueblo, CO with my Mom and sisters. Katie was the only one missing. Claira and Bethany loved Christmas. Bethany understands about Santa Claus now and was so excited to put out cookies and milk for him. She of course loved the presents part the best. IT was so wonderful to be with family. Along with a lot of lying around and being lazy, we played board games and took the kids (and dogs) to the park. We also spent a day sledding which was a lot of fun! I don't remember the last time I went sledding. The kids had fun too I guess :) We mostly heard "its cold" and "I'm wet" rather than this is so much fun. The snow was sooo powdery you couldn't make a snowball if you tried. Unfortunately that meant every sled run kids were getting face fulls of snow, the poor things. They all still say they had a lot of fun though.

As for me morning sickness is finally fading away. YEAH!!! Also, I got me first ultrasound tues. Still too early to tell gender but it was fun to see the baby moving and as the sonographer said "being stubborn".

I hope everyone had a merry Christmas. Here's hoping my next post comes sooner than 4 months :)

poison control

I figured I would get the day started on the right foot this morning so I started it out by getting the dishes put away. The kids weren't fighting so I figured all was well. After I finished I went into the living room to see what was going on. What I saw was Claira and Bethany in the front room, Bethany looking on and Claira with a bottle of lens cleaner in her hands. No I screamed, but she must have already taken a swallow because as I was running to them she spit out all the liquid in her mouth. I called poison control and they were very helpful. Claira is fine thank goodness.
So its been kind of an eventful day. I love my little girls even if they are little stress creating machines. Claira is now a toddler, walking all over the house. Bethany never ceases to amaze me. She loves to learn. Her favorite game is for me to get our little white board and write sentences for her to read. She loves it. Of course I have to illustrate every sentence after shes done reading it. Someday she'll figure out thats what books are. Right now books are what people read to her not the other way around. They are both so fun I love them to death. I especially love that they are at that age where they can finally play with eachother though I guess thats what caused the problem this morning. Well thats all for now
